Red Jasper

According to Viking and Germanic legend, the hilt of the magical sword of Siegfried, the dragon slayer, was inlaid with Red Jasper to bring him courage… I love stuff like that. Red Jasper was known as a talisman of warriors and a promoter of justice, protection, and life. It is a protection stone, a great stone associate with the root chakra and one of vibrancy and endurance. It’s also a very old stone and mentioned even in the bible.
Jasper is a strong stability gemstone. It is a powerful protection against things that are not good for you and it eases emotional stresses. It gives one the courage to speak out and have personal independence which I know so many of us struggle with.
Red Jasper is a stone of passion and a token of all who consummate love. It promotes sexual compatibility and enhances tantric sex. It may assist women in overcoming a jealous love rival or unfair opposition to a relationship… and yes, I used this stone a lot during my twin flame journey.
It carries a very strong spiritual grounding vibration that will help you reconnect with Earth’s grounding energies. Its cleansing effect eliminates negativity, as other stones do, but what makes this stone different, is that it is thought to return the negative energy to its source, and stabilizes the aura. It is an ideal worry or rubbing stone for soothing the nerves and restoring balance and I love those.
It is marvelous for clearing the mind during meditation, prayer or contemplation. Its high spiritual energy increases focus and is helpful in establishing new spiritual disciplines. All in all Red Jasper is a great stone to have in your repertoire, I also love it in jewelry. Wearing a ring or necklace with red jasper in it is surprisingly powerful, I attribute that most to it's grounding qualities which I think we take for granted until we start using grounding stones and realize how badly we needed them!
